Central Valley Agricultural Imports, Inc. is proud to be moving forward on the road to SQF certification, a food safety standard that puts us on global standards and opens a new market of opportunity for our customers. We received a confirmation letter from the auditing agency that we are nearing certification.

Safe Quality Food Code, currently in Edition 9, is a Food Safety Management Certification Scheme, created and managed by SQF Institute, used to control food safety risks. Once your food safety management system is implemented it is audited and certified by a third-party certification body. The Food Safety Certification requirements provide a rigorous system to manage food safety risks and provide safe products for use by companies in the food industry.

With SQF certification, CVAE, Inc. is able to assure our vendors that our food meets the highest quality standards yet, and we are continuing our longstanding effort to grow our flexibility to meet the needs of businesses is in our industry.
